Dating back to the Greco-Roman era, friendships have been at the core of civic and political engagement, various forms of activism, and connections among positional leaders. However, friendships and a friendship-informed understanding of leadership is critical to any type of positive change regardless of role. This workshops asks participants to work through why friendships matter in conversations about leadership and how positive change and critical conversations happen through more friendship-informed dialogues.
