- Oct 235:30 PMTSI Team MeetingThe Sycamore Institute will hold a team meeting to discuss op-ed progress and to discuss foreign events related to each fellow's division. This event is accessible to all GMU students who are interested in The Sycamore Institute. Current Sycamore students may give presentations on their desired research interests, as well as giving briefs about their Op-Eds. Chickfila will be served to those who submit a request through a google form that will be provided on Mason360. The goal of this meeting is not only to facilitate dialogue between The Sycamore Institute members, but to also provide prospective members the network and experience to engage and develop their knowledge of foreign policy. The Sycamore Institute provides equal opportunities to all GMU students to engage with The Sycamore Institute, and learn about the application process into the organization. As a student led think tank, we hope to learn and contribute to foreign policy related issues through everyone's unique backgrounds and perspectives. Mason faculty and staff are also welcome to be present at meetings, as we hope that students can be presented with networking opportunities with staff and faculty. At heart, The Sycamore Institute not only allows government and non-government students at GMU to adequately learn about Op-Ed writing and research, but to become acquainted in a network of those passionate about foreign policy.
