Jack Smith, the former special counsel who prosecuted the cases against Donald Trump prior to his re-election, will deliver George Mason University’s 2025 Roger Wilkins Lecture. Smith will address the challenges of maintaining the rule of law in today’s political and legal environment. The lecture will be open to all George Mason students.
The annual Roger Wilkins Lecture, presented by George Mason’s Philosophy, Politics and Economics Program, is named in honor of the late Robinson Professor Emeritus of History and American Culture. Wilkins, a civil rights activist and first Black assistant attorney general, served under Presidents Kennedy and Johnson.
